Description

PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide and melanocortin receptor agonist (MC4R-preferring, with MC1R/MC3R activity), structurally derived from α-MSH and closely related to Melanotan II. Molecular formula C50H68N14O10, molecular weight ~1025.2 g/mol (free base); CAS 189691-06-3; commonly supplied as the acetate salt.

Because PT-141 differs from Melanotan II by only ~1 Da on a shared cyclic scaffold, identity is confirmed by HPLC plus high-resolution mass spectrometry — each batch ships with a full CoA, not a purity-only certificate. Supplied as a lyophilised powder; store cold and protected from light.
